              Applicants Educated Outside of Canada
Applicants who have graduated from high school and/or a post-secondary institution in a foreign country are required to have their diplomas evaluated on a course-by-course basis by the World Education Services to determine if their foreign education is equivalent to an OSSD and courses taken are equivalent to the above requirements .
All applicable fees associated with the World Education Services are the responsibility of the applicant.
Applicants must arrange to have copies of the evaluation forwarded to Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries Inc .directly from World Education Services by the required deadlines.

English Proficiency - English is the language in which the dental hygiene program is taught at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries Inc.
It is imperative that the student has a strong grasp of the English language, both verbal and written in order to complete the dental hygiene program.
The National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination is offered in both official languages; English and French. A graduate must sit the examination and pass in order to obtain the National Dental Hygiene Board Certificate as a requirement to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Ontario.
If the World Education Services course-by-course evaluation determines that no course has been taken which is comparable to the required OSSD Grade 12 English course or equivalent, then the applicant must complete a Grade 12 English course prior to their application.
Any other English proficiency standardized tests (e.g. TOEFL) will not be accepted as a substitute for successful completion of a Grade 12 English course.
