TCDHA Curriculum and the National Competencies:
The Entry to Practice Competencies and Standards for Canadian Dental Hygienists provides a framework for dental hygiene education across Canada. TCDHA has fully incorporated these competencies into their curriculum. In order to do so we have increased the number of our program hours to be comparable with all dental hygiene schools in Ontario, both private and public. These hours are being accommodated within the existing 18 month time frame.
