TCDHA Curriculum and the National Competencies:
The Entry to Practice Competencies and Standards for Canadian Dental Hygienists provides a framework for dental hygiene education across Canada. TCDHA has fully incorporated these competencies into their curriculum. We have increased the number of program hours to be comparable with all dental hygiene schools in Ontario, both private and public. These hours are within the existing 18 month time frame.
